Science Saves Lives: It’s Written in Stone (Video)

This excellent video, written by former science educator and current science communicator Bertha Vázsquez, is worth sharing. It’s a brief history of the advancements in science, particularly in medicine and vaccines, that have allowed for far fewer childhood deaths and longer, more healthy lives.

ScienceSaves has a college scholarship video contest open to high school seniors. Create an original video describing an experience in your life that demonstrates that science does indeed save. The experience can be something that happened to you or someone you know. Submit it by May 25, 2025 to win up to $10,000 towards college.
